Layout 01 - ZOMBIE-LOAN version: 01title: VIBRANTmelodies ;; [[MIRAYA'S trade post]] features: Akatsuki Chika & Akatsuki Momoka (Zombie-Loan) during time: January 5th - January 18th 2008 This was the first layout I made for VM~ *o* The overall layout wasn't too hard to make, but the most difficulty I had was coloring in the manga scan, and then cutting it out from the manga scan + pasting it onto a background like this. XD Looking back, I still think it's reaaa~~lly cute, but the major flaws were: 1. The layout didn't fit the page, so the horizontal scrollbar showed up, which pisses me off to no end. 2. A lot of information to be put into a little scrolling table, so it was a pain looking through cards. 3. In Firefox, the scrollbar isn't transparent, so it looks really out of place compared to the rest of the layout. :'( I'm still proud of it though, just not one of my best works, haha. And I just noticed that this is the only non-real life person layout I've made for VM. :o Layout 02 - Kissing You version: 02title: VIBRANTmelodies ;; [[MIRAYA'S trade post]] features: Tiffany (SNSD) & Lee Donghae (Super Junior /M) during time: January 18th - February 8th 2008 Second layout! I lost the stylesheet, so I'm not able to show the full layout properly. ;( Anyways, I remember making this when SNSD's Kissing You MV came out! And I absolutely loved the cute chemistry between DH and Tiffany so I made a layout for them! I didn't have much problems with this layout, but I started to dislike it after a while because it was VERY plain. I didn't do much with the header, other than add pictures + text, and I kinda hated that because the rest was just a pink background and a white table. Layout 03 - ??I think I had a third layout, but I didn't label it... Strange... haha.Layout 04 - Konno Asamiversion: 04title: ?? features: Konno Asami (ex-Morning Musume/Hello!Project) during time: January 18th - April 7th 2008 Lost this one when my computer crashed. Just various pictures of Konno, with a randomized header! Much like my layout #07, it had a blue background and was center (white) tabled. :) Layout 05 - New Revolution version: 05title: ?? features: Super Junior - M during time: April 7th - August 10th 2008 Bleh, I lost the CSS and PHP coding for this layout when my computer crashed. Anyways, I made this layout around the time of Super Junior - M's debut! I love them to pieces, and I couldn't resist~ It's one of the "darkest" layouts I've had, I think. Lots of black/grey going on. The navigation was box-type, but it was annoying because I had to change ALL the coding on every single TCG page here to make it work with the layout. I've had this one for a very long time though, probably the longest, because I really liked the gradient-ness, haha. Layout 06 - Choi Jonghoon version: 06title: VIBRANT m e l o d i e s features: Choi Jonghoon (FT Island) during time: August 10th - November 2nd 2008 I didn't really name this one anything clever! (I usually think of something for the title of the image, but this one I just added the name of my trade post, haha.) I actually didn't do much with this layout at all. I was going through my FT Island pictures, and I came across this one of CJH and I thought he was just the cutest thing~ Plus, I'm so used to doing center table layouts that this one just a little out of the box? (haha, get it? /LAME) But yeah, I just added a few selective coloring touches, and the rest was just natural (the CD cropping was like that originally.) I liked this one though, it was very cute! :) Layout 07 - Skins Skins Skins version: 07title: various // V I B R A N T melodies {v. 7 - TITLE} features: Nakamura Yuichi (D-BOYS) + Jay Park (2PM) during time: November 2nd 2008 - January 18th 2009 Man this one gave me SUCH A HARD TIME! XD It was my first skinning EVER, and it just wouldn't stay! The cookies for it didn't work somehow, so I ended up bothering anyone I knew until I finally got it. ; ___; !! But nonetheless, I like the theme of this layout! It was very clean and colorful~ I made it while I was in my "Nakamura Yuichi" obsession, HAHA. And then I fell in love with 2PM during the middle of it, and I had to dedicate one to Jay because he's my homeboy. ♥           Layout 08 - Once Upon a Time version: 08title: vibrant melodies {v. 8 - once upon a time} features: Baba Toru (PureBOYS) during time: January 18th - February 10th 2009 Layout number 8! And the first new layout of the new year 2009! XD Comparing this to my first layout, there's a bi~g difference in the style. This one has a lot more CSS elements, due to the fact that I completed my Web Design course in HS and learned a lot more/new things. :) Plus, it's cuter in a simpler sort of way, while still looking a bit "professional"? <-- only word I can think of But yeah, after the 10 layouts I made for the previous one (skins), I wanted a break from it and to just lie back with a simple cute one. 8D This one is a lot less cluttered than the last one too. Layout 09 - Secrets of Love version: 09title: vibrant melodies {v.9 - secrets of love} features: Yamamoto Yusuke + ?? (Junon) during time: February 10th - April 17th 2009 Number 9~ I made this layout in celebration of Valentine's Day that was coming up, as well as Spring (thus, the pastel colors!) Plus, the shirtless Baba Toru layout from last time made a lot of my friends/mom suspicious, so they thought I was looking at porn whenever I was updating my TP LOOOL. Over time though, I stopped liking this layout because the colors were all off, and I got really annoyed with the center h1 tag that I was waay to lazy to change. Probably my most colorful layout though. XD Layout 10 - the nameless hero. version: 10title: the nameless hero. // vibrant melodies | v10 features: takuya (An Cafe) during time: April 17th - May 17th 2009 I made this layout right after I attended An Cafe's World Tour, in San Francisco! I fell in love with them AGAIN after a few months, and although Miku is my kind-of-obvious favorite, I fell in love with takuya's cuteness! So this is a layout dedicated to them, with lyrics from Kakusei Heroism~the hero without a name~, thus, the title of the layout. (Saigo no garasu wo buchiyabure = Break the last glass)! I really love this layout, because I worked so hard with just one picture, adding the text, textures, cropping the photo out of the orignal photoshoot... It made me content looking at it. \:D/ The navigation is really simple and neat too, I went back to the sidebar ordeal instead of the messy stuff I did before~~ Layout 11 - dynamite, dynamite. version: 11title: dynamite, dynamite. // vibrant melodies | v11 features: A'ST1 during time: May 17th - June 16th I fell in love with A'ST1 again after hearing their comeback, Dynamite! I've only had my takuya layout for a month, and although I really liked it, I couldn't resist changing. This one is the same style as last time, because I really like the simplicity of it and the upper left... ness. LOL. I loved this picture! I was talking to my friend about how this picture has a Chinese boyband air to it, especially with Hanbyul looking like a little boy in the middle HAHA. I love love love love love Tomo though! He reminds me a bit of Narimiya Hiroki. :S I think my favorite part about this layout is the striped textures though haha. Layout 12 - jigoku no kyoudai | the hell brothers. version: 12title: 地獄の兄弟 | the brothers from hell [v12] features: Yaguruma Sou (Tokuyama Hidenori) and Kageyama Shun (Uchiyama Masato) of Kamen Rider Kabuto during time: June 16th - July 24 (copied & pasted from index comment) There is definitely something wrong with me and changing layouts after a month of having them. To be honest, I kind of got sick of my A'ST1 layout, because it was definitely BS'd last minute. I didn't like it as much as I liked the takuya layout before it. I think the only thing that I absolutely loved about it was the textures that I used for the BG. XD Layout 12 featuring Yaguruma Sou (Tokuyama Hidenori) and Kageyama Shun (Uchiyama Masato ♥) from Kamen Rider Kabuto! Also known as the "Hoppers" (Kick Hopper and Punch Hopper, respectively) or "Hellish Brothers." I've been really obsessed with Kamen Rider Kabuto lately, mainly watching for the relationship between these two. It's just so strangely interesting, how they started off commander/subordinate, progressed to the subordinate being the superior, and then becoming partners (in crime!) The little bit at the top left describes Kageyama's fall during episode 35, and then the quote below it "Even the devil's whipser can sometimes sound like an angel's voice" is said sometime by Tendou (in the beginning episodes), and it just really made me relate back to Yaguruma. He appears finally after his long absense, only to say to Kageyama, "Won't you come to hell with me?" To Kageyama, it seems like hell is the only option to go to after his fall, and Yaguruma is his (false) savior. ("But we can't be together forever.") Anyways, this is the first layout with a dark theme to it. All my previous ones have always been black text on a fairly white background, but this is a change! I'm slightly proud of myself going out of the box, haha. And if anyone noticed that Kageyama/Uchiyama is a bit brighter (more in color) than Yaguruma/Tokuyama... well, I want to say that it's the symbolism that Kageyama is the light to Yaguruma, because Yaguruma lost emotion/hisself a long time before Kageyama did, but no... He's brighter because he's my favorite character in Kabuto, HAHA. I am so lame. Layout 13 - protecting the world, one smile at a time version: 13title: protecting the world, one smile at a time | 笑いのために世界を守る [v13] features: Suzuki Shogo and Matsuzaka Tori during time: July 24 - October 20 (copied & pasted from index comment) Ugh, like I said before, lately, I've only been keeping layouts for about a month before changing them. I really need to stop, but I'm so inconsistant, I swear! I loved the last layout and all, but it was too dark for my liking! I also felt kind of awkward updating it around people because it had "HELL" in large letters... haha. This layout (number 13!) features My style is very... girly to say the least, in this layout. I really like the frill/doily effect, and the font and the bow and the background... pretty much EVERYTHING haha. I really love this layout. It's a first, I don't think I've ever loved a layout as much as I love this one. But I'm glad I went back to my typical "white-table"d style of coding. SAMURAI SENTAI SHINKENGERRR~~ APPARE!
